About Me

After receiving my degree in Psychology from the College of Charleston, I began my career at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), working in the acute in-patient unit at the Institute of Psychiatry. There, I assisted patients facing severe mental health challenges, and while the work was rewarding, I often felt limited by the resources available within the traditional medical model. I wanted to offer more holistic, effective tools to help my patients heal and grow. This desire led me to transition into genetic research, where I worked as a dual employee at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center and MUSC, focusing on veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

During our research, I came across something that would change my career path forever. One of our patients, who had struggled with PTSD despite undergoing numerous conventional treatments, shared their experience with hypnotherapy. The remarkable progress this individual made after just a few sessions of hypnosis left me amazed. It was as if years of therapy had been condensed into a few sessions, offering profound and lasting relief. Seeing firsthand how hypnotherapy could make such a difference opened my eyes to its potential and inspired me to explore this powerful modality further.

Today, as an ACHE certified hypnotherapist, I am privileged to witness life-changing transformations in my clients every day. Hypnosis allows me to work with individuals at a deep, subconscious level, reprogramming automatic behaviors, emotional responses, and thought patterns that no longer serve them. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey, helping you unlock your potential and create the life you’ve always wanted.
